Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Teenager helped to safety by firefighters in Folkestone
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to help a teenage girl who had got stuck about 20 meters down a steep bank in Folkestone. The girl had taken a shortcut down the side of a muddy bank that leads from a footpath from The Lees to the beach. Fire crews walked up the bank and used specialist equipment to bring her to safety.
