Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Kitchen fire - Canterbury
Incident details
Firefighters in breathing apparatus tackled an oil cooking fire in the kitchen of a flat in Parham Road, Canterbury. 
 
Crews extinguished the blaze using a high-pressure hose reel and a covering jet, before clearing smoke and fumes from the property. 
 
There are no reports of any injuries and the cause is thought to be accidental.
