Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

A2 road crash - Lydden
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a road crash at section 12 of the A2 coastbound near Lydden (Dover). 
 
Both London-bound and coastbound carriageways of the A2 have been closed by Kent Police, who are also in attendance along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance. 
 
Three casualties have been taken to hospital via ambulance and one via air ambulance.
