Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Store room fire in Gillingham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a small fire in the store room of a business on Pier Road in Gillingham. KFRS sent two fire engines to the scene and the firefighters used breathing apparatus and a hose reel jet to quickly extinguish the fire. The store room was then cleared of smoke using a large fan. There were no reported injuries and the cause isn't known at this time.
