Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Woman freed after vehicle slides into ditch - Sevenoaks
Incident details
Firefighters using hydraulic rescue equipment have released a woman who was trapped in her vehicle after it left the road, sliding into a ditch and ending up against a tree on the B245 in Sevenoaks. 
 
Crews stabilised the vehicle using a winch and blocks so that the casualty could be assessed and treated by paramedics before being removed to a waiting ambulance.
