Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Woman rescued after car overturns - Teynham near Sittingbourne
Incident details
Firefighters used hydraulic rescue equipment to free a woman who was trapped in her vehicle after it overturned on Lower Road, Teynham, near Sittingbourne. 
 
Crews worked closely with paramedics to create space to allow assessment of the casualty's condition, before assisting with removal to a waiting ambulance.
