Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Fire at recycling centre - Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a fire at a recycling centre in Ashford. Crews located the fire and wearing breathing apparatus and using a main jet and hose reel jet extinguished the fire. Crews remain at the scene to damp down any remaining hot spots.
