Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Barn fire in Eynsford near Dartford
Incident details
LATEST: 9:30PM 
Firefighters have made good progress in tackling the fire. The operations have been reduced to three fire engines. Crews remaining at the site are turning over and damping any remaining hot spots. 
 
UPDATE: 7:00pm 
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is at the scene of a barn fire just off the High Street in Eynsford near Dartford. Five fire engines have been sent to the fire which was well established. Due to the large volume of smoke coming from the fire, residents and businesses close to the High Street are being asked to keep windows and doors closed as a precaution, while firefighting operations continue. There are no reported injuries and the cause isn't known at this time. More to come.
