Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Derelict building fire in Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue was called to a fire in Samuel Peto Way at 7.42pm to reports of a fire in an abandoned building, after smoke was seen coming from the windows. 
 
Two fire engines were sent to the property and crews had quickly extinguished the blaze by 8.10pm. They spent around 20 minutes damping down. Duty of care was handed over to Kent Police and firefighters left the scene at 8.42pm.
