Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Caravan fire near Maidstone
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Maidstone Road in Sutton Valence, near Maidstone, to reports of a caravan alight in the middle of the road. Two fire engines attended and crews used two hose reel jets to put the fire out. There were no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be deliberate.
