Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Child rescued after being hit by train - Broadstairs
Incident details
Firefighters were called by officers from British Transport Police to reports of a child being hit by a train at Broadstairs train station in Lloyd Road, Broadstairs. 
 
Crews worked closely with paramedics, BTP officers, the rail incident officer, and railway staff to rescue the casualty who was removed to a waiting ambulance.
