Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Lorry fire on M2 near Faversham and Canterbury
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was to a lorry alight on the M2, between Faversham and Canterbury. 
 
Three fire engines attended the incident, which was on the coastbound carriageway, and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
Kent Police also attended.
