Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Woodland fire in Cranbrook
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an area of woodland on fire off Angley Road, in Cranbrook. 
 
Four fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish the blaze, which had spread to approximately two hectares of land, before damping down the surrounding area. 
 
No injuries were reported.
