Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Incident
Woodland fire in Chestfield, Whitstable
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to an area of woodland alight near Radfall Road in Chestfield, Whitstable. 
 
Three fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle were sent to the scene, with crews using beaters and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, before checking the surrounding area for hotspots. 
 
No casualties were reported.
