Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Cut corn field fire near Ashford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to a cut corn field fire in Hamstreet Road, Shadoxhurst near Ashford. Twelve fire engines and a bulk water carrier are on scene working to put the fire out. There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
