Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Out-of-control bonfire in Chatham
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an out-of-control bonfire at commercial premises in Maidstone Road, Chatham. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets, main jets and compressed air foam to extinguish the flames. 
 
No casualties were reported.
