Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Industrial fire in Horton Kirby, near Dartford
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to multiple industrial units alight at commercial premises in Lombard Street, Horton Kirby, near Dartford. 
 
Six fire engines and a bulk water carrier went sent to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is under investigation. Kent Police also attended.
