Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Grass fire in Whitstable
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a grass fire on Radfall Road in Chestfield, near Whitstable. Two fire engines were sent to the scene, and firefighters arrived to a deep-seated fire spreading through an area of vegetation. Crews used a fogging unit to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported, and the cause has not yet been established.
