Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Car fire on A2 near Bean
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car alight on the A2 London-bound, near Bean, Dartford. 
 
Two fire engines attended and crews wore breathing apparatus while using a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is believed to be accidental.
