Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Double decker bus fire - Hoo
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a double-decker bus that had caught alight on Hoo Road, Rochester. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used four hose reels and compressed air foam tackling the fire from the front and rear of the bus simultaneously. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
