Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Shed fire in Whitstable
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a large shed alight in Canterbury Road, Whitstable. 
 
Three fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames, which had spread to a neighbouring shed. 
 
No casualties were reported. 
 
The cause is not yet known but is believed to be accidental.
