Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Update: Roof fire in Canterbury
Incident details
Update: 10:00 
All firefighting activity at the scene of a roof fire on Littlebourne Road in Canterbury is complete, and the fire is now out. At the height of the fire, four fire engines and a height vehicle were in attendance. Crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and water from a local hydrant to extinguish the blaze. No casualties were reported and the cause is not yet known. 
Firefighters are working to put out a fire in the roof of a property on Littlebourne Road, Canterbury. The #A256 Littlebourne Road is now closed and is likely to remain so for at least 90 minutes. 
Crews wearing breathing apparatus are tackling the flames with two main hoses and a height vehicle. Kent Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service are also in attendance.
