Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Weather-related incidents - countywide
Incident details
Firefighters and KFRS Volunteers have been working hard throughout the afternoon and into the evening at a number of weather-related incidents across Kent and Medway. 
 
• Flooding in Maidstone - firefighters pumped water away at a Maidstone NHS property 
• Flooding in Swanley - dozens of reports of surface water flooding affecting several customers' homes 
• Flooding in Yalding - fire crew and volunteers sent to assist customers stranded by floodwater entering their property 
• Tree down affecting telegraph pole in West Malling - crews have closed part of the road awaiting telecoms engineers
