Kent Fire and Rescue Service attends a range of incidents including fires, road crashes, flooding, rescues from height, mud or confined spaces. It also supports other agencies including Kent Police, South East Coast Ambulance Service and the Martime and Coastguard Agency on a regular basis.

Child rescued from a cave.
Incident details
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to Whiteness Road, Broadstairs by the Coastguard to reports of a young person that had climbed into a cave and was unable to get back down. Crews used a short extension ladder and walked them down to be reunited with their parents.
