Firefighting operations are now complete and all crews have left the scene.
The cause of the fire is under investigation and duty of care has been left with Kent Police.
Update at 10:45am:
Two fire engines and a height vehicle remain at the scene of a house fire in St Mary's Road in Faversham. The technical rescue is also in attendance.
Crews wearing breathing apparatus used main jets to extinguish the flames and are dampening down any remaining hot spots.
KFRS' volunteer response team are on-hand to provide advice and support to any affected residents.
The road has been closed while emergency services work at the scene, so people are advised to avoid the area and to check for travel updates.

People living near to St Mary’s Road in Faversham are no longer advised to close windows and doors following a house fire.

Seven fire engines and a height vehicle remain at the scene, as well as the technical rescue unit, and crews are using hose reel jets and covering jets to extinguish the flames.
KFRS' volunteer response team is also in attendance to offer advice and support to residents.
