Final update: 

A fire at an industrial premises on Medway City Estate in Rochester is now out and crews have left the scene. 

The cause is not yet known. 

Update at 11.25am on 25 September 2023: 

People living or working near to Neptune Close, on Medway City Estate, in Rochester, are no longer advised to close windows and doors following a fire at an industrial premises.

Four fire engines and a height vehicle were sent to the scene but this has since been reduced to one fire engine. 

Crews wearing breathing apparatus extinguished the flames using hose reel jets, before using high pressured fans to clear the property of smoke. 

Three people have been treated for suspected smoke inhalation and have been passed into the care of SECAmb. 

The cause is not yet known.
