Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car that had crashed into a ditch off Herne Bay road in Sturry, Canterbury.
Three fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic equipment to rescue a person stuck in a car and then a longboard to extricate them.
One person was passed into the care of paramedics, the cause is not yet known.
