Firefighting operations have now finished at a house fire in Saddington Street, Gravesend.

Earlier advice for people in the area to close their windows and doors due to smoke has now been lifted.

Four fire engines and a height vehicle attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used main jets to extinguish the flames.

There were no reported injuries and the cause is believed to be accidental.

Crews are advising people living near Saddington Street in Gravesend to close windows and doors due to large amounts of smoke coming from a house fire. 

Four fire engines and a height vehicle are in attendance and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, are working to extinguish the flames.
