Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an underground bunker fire at Fullingpits Wood, Maidstone.
Six fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the flames.
Two people were passed into the care of SECamb paramedics.
The cause is not yet known.
