Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a large fire at a recycling site in Allington, near Maidstone.
Four fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used main jets to extinguish the flames.
The premises was evacuated and all persons accounted for.
There are no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
