  • thatched roofs
  • open fires and wood-burning stoves
  • nearby wildfires
  • limited or poor water supplies
     

In rural businesses, risks can include:

  • storage of hazardous chemicals
  • livestock and animal handling
  • machinery on site
  • temporary accommodation for workers
  • exposure to wildfires
