Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle on fire on the A249, Maidstone-bound, near Detling.
Two fire engines attended and crews wearing breathing apparatus, extinguished the fire using hose reel jets.
There were no reported injuries and the cause is not yet known.
