Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle alight on the M25 near Brasted, Sevenoaks, between Junction 5 for Chipstead and Junction 6 for Godstone.
Two fire engines attended the clockwise side of the carriageway, where crews extinguished the fire using hose reel jets. No injuries have been reported.
