Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to a double decker bus alight on Dock Road in Gillingham.
Two fire engines attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire, which is believed to have started in the engine compartment.
There were no reported injuries.
