Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a car alight in Rushenden Road, in Queenborough, Sheerness.
One fire engine attended, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is believed to be accidental.
