Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a large fire at an industrial site in Hartlip, Sittingbourne.

Control operators sent eight fire engines to the scene in Matts Hill Road, as well as a bulk water carrier and the technical rescue unit.

Crews wearing breathing apparatus worked hard to extinguish the blaze using main jets and hose reel jets.

Five vehicles, two industrial cabins and a large storage container were destroyed by the fire, and another vehicle and two industrial units were damaged by heat.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is not yet known.
