Crews have checked for and extinguished any remaining hotspots, and firefighting operations are now complete at a field fire on Discovery Road in Ashford.

No injuries were reported, and the cause is not yet known.

Firefighters are currently responding to a field fire on Discovery Road in Ashford.

Eight fire engines and an all-terrain vehicle are in attendance. Crews are using hose reel jets and beaters to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading.
