Ashford
Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a field alight at Station Road in Appledore, Ashford.
Eight fire engines, a fogging unit and a bulk water carrier attended. Crews used hose reel jets, beaters and flexi-packs to extinguish the fire and dampen down any remaining hotspots.
No injuries were reported, and the cause is not yet known.
