Final update at 4.30am on 4 September: 

Firefighters are no longer advising people near Collet Road in Kemsing, Sevenoaks, to keep windows and doors closed, following a garden fire in the area. 

At the height of the incident, eight fire engines were sent to the scene and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to extinguish the flames, which had spread to neighbouring gardens, sheds and trees. 

KFRS' Volunteer Response Team also attended to provide welfare and support to affected residents. 

One person was checked over as a precaution by SECAmb paramedics but no other injuries were reported. 

The cause of the fire is not yet known.

People living or travelling near Collet Road in Kemsing, Sevenoaks, are still being advised to close windows and doors due to smoke coming from a garden fire.

Eight fire engines have been sent to the scene, where crews are using main jets and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.

No injuries have been reported, and the cause is not yet known.
