Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called to the river Stour where two men in their 20s had ended up in the water after camping on the river bank and not accounting for the rising tide of up to 3 meters. Kent Fire and Rescue Service crews used thermal image cameras and lighting to locate the casualties, one of which was stuck in mud and water up to his knees.
