Fire crews respond to Maidstone road crash

Maidstone

Kent Fire and Rescue Service (KFRS) attended a road crash on Linton Hill, Maidstone involving two vehicles, one of which was towing a horse box. Fire crews were called at 5.30pm and used rescue equipment to cut off the roof of the car, allowing them to release a woman, who was then taken to hospital by ambulance. KFRS’ specialist animal rescue team also attended and with the help of a vet, was able to release the horse from the overturned horsebox and lead it to safety.
