Update: 12:45pm Kent Fire and Rescue Service remains at the scene of flooding at Little Venice Country Park in Yalding near Maidstone. Crews have now helped evacuate over 40 residents from the site. Our Volunteer Response Team is also in attendance. ..................................Kent Fire and Rescue Service is responding to flooding at Little Venice Country Park, in Yalding, Maidstone. Two fire engines are in attendance, as well as the Water Safety Unit and Technical Rescue Team. Crews are using a power boat and inflatable rafts to evacuate a number of residents from their homes. Firefighters are using a submersible pump to help clear the flood water from the site. More to follow.
