Update: 4:30pm Firefighting operations at the scene of a vehicle fire on St Clements Way in Greenhithe have now been completed. Crews have left the scene, and the road has now reopened. ..............................................Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a vehicle fire on St Clements Way in Greenhithe. Two fire engines remain in attendance and crews have been using hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Firefighters are advising the public to avoid the area, since the road remains closed whilst the emergency services deal with the incident. Kent Police and the air ambulance are also in attendance.
