Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of an out of control bonfire in a scrap yard off New Creek Road, Faversham. Two fire engines attended and crews used hose reel jets to tackle the blaze. No casualties were reported. The cause is believed to be accidental. Following the incident, crews are reminding people to take extra care when lighting bonfires.
