Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Bere Close, Greenhithe, near Dartford. Three fire engines were sent to the scene, and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to extinguish the fire, which had left the property heavily smoke damaged. The KFRS volunteer response team attended to provide support to the occupants, and there were no reported injuries. The cause of the fire is not yet known.
