Outbuilding fire in Benenden, Cranbrook

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of several outbuildings alight in Standen Street, in Benenden, Cranbrook. 

At the height of the fire, seven fire engines were in attendance, as well as a bulk water carrier and the technical rescue unit. KFRS’ volunteer response team also attended to provide welfare and support. 

Crews extinguished the flames using hose reel jets, main jets and foam. Three outbuilding were destroyed by the blaze.

No casualties were reported and cause is not yet known.
