We're excited to announce that Sevenoaks Fire Station will be opening their doors to the public this year for our 'Be Safe with Us' Open Day event. 

This event is going to be packed with fun, including games, hands-on activities and a chance to meet our firefighters! 

Event details:

Date: Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29 July
Time: Three sessions available. There will be announcements when it's time for morning attendees to leave.

  • SEND hour: 10am – 11am. This quieter hour is reserved for children with additional needs.
  • Morning session: 11am-1pm
  • Afternoon session: 2pm - 4pm

Location: Tonbridge Castle 
Cost: FREE! But spaces are limited – please book tickets in advance for every attendee, including children and adults 

Some things to note before you arrive:

  • Travel – There is no parking available at the fire station. However, there are also good train and bus links. 
  • Food and drink - There will be an ice cream van and a coffee wagon on site. You're also welcome to bring your own food and drink.
  • Photography - There will be an event photographer. If you prefer not to be photographed, just let a team member know at the registration desk. 
  • An outside event - Many activities will be outside so make sure you dress for the weather and bring any essentials you might need! 
  • Toilet facilities - There are toilets available for use at the event. If you require accessible toilets or baby change facilities these are available at the medical centre next to the fire station. Please look out for the site map which will be shared ahead of the event. 
  • Dogs - There are no dogs allowed at this event
  • Smoking - Please refrain from smoking within the event site. 
  • Supervision - Please supervise your children at all times during this busy event
