Canterbury

Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a fire in an underground car park in Creine Mill Lane, Canterbury. 

Three fire engines attended and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used dry powder and hose reel jets to extinguish the flames which were coming from an electrical box. 

The volunteer response team also attended to support residents who were evacuated. 

There was no reported injuries and the cause is being treated as suspicious.
