Firefighting operations at the scene of a blaze on the Lydd Ranges in Romney Marsh have now been completed. No casualties were reported, and the cause has not yet been confirmed.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service is currently at the scene of fire involving a number of trees and an area of grassland alight on the Lydd Ranges in Lydd, Romney Marsh. Four fire engines are in attendance, and crews are working to extinguish the flames using main jets, hose reel jets and beaters. More to follow.
