Director of Protection, Prevention and Customer Engagement 

Leanne is responsible for Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s Protection, Prevention and Engagement teams. She provides strategic leadership and specialist advice across community and building safety, helping KFRS meet its legal duties and safety objectives.

She develops policies, programmes and partnerships that strengthen protection, prevention and engagement activity. Her work supports behaviour change, improves safety outcomes and contributes to the organisation’s corporate governance.

Leanne is also an operational strategic commander, attending incidents and making senior decisions during complex events. She reports to Chief Executive Ann Millington, and deputises for the chief executive as required.
